North Carolinians Speak Out
The proliferation of factory hog operations in North Carolina has affected more than the quality of air
and water in the state. For many North Carolinians, waste and odor generated by so many hogs are hurting their health, income, quality of life and drinking water. Many are frustrated and feel powerless but are fighting for fairness and change.
Listen to North Carolinians tell their own stories about how their lives have been up-ended in the face
of a multi-billion dollar pork industry with strong political clout, and how they're fighting back to protect their communities.
