So you have your dog and you love them more than life itself. They are your everything. You have the leash they had on from the first day that you brought them home. You get them presents and you give them a birthday celebration. It’s easy to say that no one loves their dogs more than you do, but that sometimes isn’t enough. There are times when you have to face facts that you can no longer care for them and you have to give them away. It’s a rare situation for many, but when it happens it’s one of the toughest things you have to do.

The first sign is the  lack of interaction. Most dogs can get by on very little affection from you but that doesn’t mean that they should be kept from it. They have to be able to go outside and play and have fun and be around you. If they are unable to do that and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better than you have to man up and send them packing. It’s not easy to do and it’s the worst feeling but you have to do what is best for the dog and not what is best for you.

The moment the care of a dog goes down in quality is the time to do what is right and send them home. You are better than that and they have to be with someone who can give them the life that they need.
